RED PLUS is a complementary red pigmenting feed designed to support the coloration of red factor canaries , both during the moulting period and in the preparation of subjects intended for ornithological shows.

Its formulation with a high concentration of canthaxanthin (7.75%) and beta-carotene (1.75%) helps develop an intense, bright and uniform pigmentation of the plumage, helping breeders to obtain optimal results in compliance with breed standards.

RED PLUS can be used with both traditional seed and egg-food diets and complete feeds. For coloring of young birds, it is recommended to start feeding breeders about two weeks before egg laying, thus promoting effective pigmentation from the early stages of growth.

How to Use

• Add up to 3 g per kg of UNIFEED LOR.
• In case of traditional feeding, add up to 6 g per kg of soft food.

For show canaries, feed daily during the moulting period.

For colouring of young, start feeding to breeders at least 2 weeks before laying.

Warnings

• Do not exceed the recommended dose.
• Excessive dosage may cause coloration that does not conform to the required standards.
• Excess pigment can be detected by the red coloration of the stool.
• In case of excessive pigmentation, reduce the dosage.
• Improper use can cause metabolic alterations in birds.
