PSEPHOTUS HAEMATONOTUS

The parakeet with red rump is a psittacid with a very long tail, particularly appreciated by the breeders for the facility of reproduction and the docility. Loves to live in flocks 
Distribution: native to the eastern regions of Australia.
Feeding: when in captivity it nourishes with a mixture of seeds (scagliola, millet, oats, sunflower), cooked legumes, pastoncino for insectivorous and chamois of the flour.
