KINOSTERNON BAURII

The Kinosternon Baurii is a relatively small turtle, reaching the 12-13 cm of carapace.
It is not prone to swimming, prefers to rest on the seabed or stop in shallow waters.
It’s a pretty biting turtle.

DISTRIBUTION:

Kinosternon Baurii is native to the Coast of Virginia, Florida.

FEEDING:

The species Kinosternon Baurii is omnivorous, but mainly carnivorous.
Fresh water fish, insects and small molluscs, pellets for aquatic turtles can be administered (in this regard, it is recommended to consult the section on this site dedicated to the purchase of pellets for water turtles).
