The Flying Dragon is a lizard of the Agamidae family. Like other members of the genus Draco, this species has the ability to glide using lateral extensions similar to skin wings called Patagia.
During the jump, the Draco Volans will open its wings and slides to the ground, usually they can glide for 8 meters.
Curiosity: it is easy to recognize when lizards will fly. Before the flight, the lizard will turn so that its head is directed towards the ground. Gliding is used only as a means of locomotion and not for escaping predators.
