The blue-tongued Tiliqua is a skink that can measure 50 cm. The limbs, much smaller than the body, are very suitable for digging and enriching. It has diurnal habits and lives in spaces with poor vegetation.
Distribution: Native to Tasmania, it can be found also in the south-eastern part of Australia.
Feeding: omnivorous: leaves, flowers, creeping invertebrates and small vertebrates.
