The daily administration of the food should correspond to the amount consumed on average in 24 hours, taking care to ensure before each administration to clean and wash the manger. This hygienic practice should be extended to the drinking trough, ensuring fresh and clean water always available. 
The generic term exotic refers to passeriforms predominantly included in the family of the Estrildids. Among the many species we mention the Erythrura gouldiae or Gould’s Diamond, native to Australia where it lives in the northern part of the island. It is a sociable bird and lives in large groups, even during the breeding season. In the wild it moves in flocks among the open forests and shrubs, looking for seeds on the ground. We also remember the Taeniopygia guttata (Mandarin Diamond), the Amandava amandava (Common Bengal), the Neochmia temporalis (Diamond red ciglia), the Lonchura oryzivora (Javanese Finch), the Peophila acuticauda (Diamond codalunga).
Among the many genera, species and subspecies of the family of the Estrildidi the dimensions vary from 8,5 cm for the weight of 8 g of the smallest species (Estrilda troglodytes) to 17 cm and 28 g of the largest (Lonchura oryzivora).
